Clinical notes
A 66 year-old man presented with a painless right parotid swelling for 2 weeks. A CT showed an aggressive lesion in the right masticator space, the differential for which included: sarcoma, adenoid cystic carcinoma, mucoepidermoid carcinoma and lymphoma. A biopsy revealed carcinoma of uncertain primary origin. A PET-CT was requested for staging.
