Our department is actively involved in undergraduate radiology teaching. Undergraduate medical students will be introduced to the basic principles of radiology in the first few years of their training with introductory lectures describing radiological anatomy to supplement anatomy practical sessions. Applied radiology, covering the specific basis of various common imaging modalities and their advantages and pitfalls, will be delivered in the latter part of the curriculum in the form of small group tutorials. To further enhance students’ learning, we introduce early hands-on ultrasound and radiology workshops in the curriculum. The department also offers special study modules in radiology for more in-depth learning of applied radiology.
