The Department of Diagnostic Radiology was established in July 1988. Since it’s inception, the Department has grown several fold and it provides a platform for advanced modality clinical services, imaging research and undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

Vision and Mission

• To provide the infrastructure, platform and environment for academic radiology in the fast developing and high impact field of Radiology.
• To deliver comprehensive undergraduate teaching in Radiology which is relevant and updated for current clinical practice, and to lead and organize post-graduate teaching and educational programs for Radiology professionals and Imaging scientists in Hong Kong and the region.
• To provide excellence in the standard of clinical imaging services and patient care, and engage the community through knowledge exchange.
